BARBARA CHAN
Management
consultant, dynamic facilitator, compassionate conflict mediator and executive
coach, Barbara Chan has been making a difference for business, education,
nonprofit and community organizations since the 1970s. Barbara and her
group's passion for people, planet, technology and profit integrated with
their intercultural, holistic, systems approach gives individuals and
organizations lasting results. Barbara's previous work at the University
of California at Berkeley and national Lawrence and Los Alamos research
laboratories as an immigration and cross-cultural advisor coupled with
her experience as an executive in a technology startup informs the coaching
and consulting practice she started in 1986.
Barbara is a certified professional coach, Virtual CEO provider, strategic
planning facilitator, mediator and alternative health practitioner with
degrees in biology and psychology. She is a founding member of the International
Coach Federation East Bay Chapter and serves on its leadership team.
She is a writer, illustrator, workshop leader and speaker who has worked with people from 81 countries. Barbara has traveled, lived and spoken in Europe, West Africa, the Americas and Asia, and is familiar with Spanish, German and Mandarin Chinese.
